Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients

1 lb andouille Sausage (1/4″ slices)
1 Large White Onion (chopped)
1/2 Bell Pepper (chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
1/2 lb Ham Steak (1/4″ cubes, no skin)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Thyme
Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 1/2 C Water
1 C Jasmine Rice (Uncooked)
1 tbl Chicken or Beef bouillon
1 sm Can Mushrooms

Directions

  1. Brown Sausage and Ham; Set aside
  2. In a large pot saute Onion, Bell Pepper, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Thyme, Cayenne, couple dashes of Worcestershire until all are softened.
  3. Add Water and Rice, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low for 30+ min.
  4. Add Sausage, Ham, Mushrooms and Bouillon. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
